Another Busyman Angel Day #online is waiting for us.
It will be 52nd Busyman Angel Day which will air on 2. 3. 2021 at 17:00 on the ZOOM platform. This time we will present 2 Czech and Slovak startups from Busyman platform and 2 startups from Bulgaria and Israel.
This event will also take place in the new 10 + 3 format!
Each project will have a maximum of 10 minutes for the presentation - which will be followed by 3 questions:
1. From the opponent of the project from the ranks of angel investors
2. From the Busyman team
3. From the audience
After the presentation of all projects, the ZOOM will be divided into individual rooms according to the projects. Here you will be able to meet founders, opponents of the projects who are assigned to them. The goal is to provide enough space for individual answers to your questions or a deeper discussion about the investment.

As the population ages, more and more seniors are increasing and need to be actively cared for. Seniors are also much more prone to injuries, disorientation and are more sensitive to changes in the environment (temperature, etc.).
It is expected that more and more seniors or younger generations, who have their grandparents, will require a higher and better level of care and at the same time will be willing to pay or pay extra for it.
The product developed by the team focuses on seniors in nursing homes and aims to significantly improve the quality of care. Using motion, noise or infrared cameras, it monitors movement and possible falls or other dangers for the elderly and calls for immediate assistance from staff if necessary. What the staff currently has to do on regular patrols can be done by sensors, even (and most importantly) at night.
The second product is the unattended measurement of body temperature in the entrances to nursing homes, but also in others, such as hospitals, office buildings, etc., to detect fever and thus a sick person and minimize the spread of the disease.

In every concrete structure today, steel reinforcement is used to improve the strength of concrete and thus reinforced concrete. This reinforcement consists of rods 6-12 m long that are machine bent and tied into shapes such as mats or baskets. Then the mat / basket is placed in place (foundation, floor, pillar) and concreted. These shapes are made 95% by hand using ties (wires) and welders.
Our autonomous robotic equipment can automate the production of steel nets for reinforced concrete structures to measure and directly on the construction site and thus can not only save ~ 80% of manual work in binding steel but also reduce the required material by about ~ 12% (depending on shape).
The project has a completely designed design with software, verified by the interest of potential customers (such as Doprastav, Strabag and other smaller developers). The size of the project makes it practically impossible to further finance it from its own resources. The obtained funds will be used primarily for equipment material and lease of production premises later to finance the start-up of the company.

IOT SOLUTION FOR SMART MONITORING OF UTILITIES
Smartest Way to Monitor Utilities - Project offers an IoT service for remote consumption metering of water, gas and electricity. Their monitoring services help their clienty to timely detect leaks, fraud and more. They already have a working solution and paying clients. They have 250 K EUR commited form VC fond and are looking for a co-investor who will invest 750 K EUR to their project with minimal ticket 160 K EUR.

HARDWARE-ENABLED SAAS THAT PREVENTS MISDELIVERIES, LOSSES AND INCREASES PERFORMANCE OF LOGISTICS
The delivery assurance tracking system tailored for the Last Mile. Product is installed by a truck’s tailgate, scanner reads tags on packages remotely, ensuring that nothing disappears from the truck unnoticed, and all packages are delivered to the correct addresses. Founder has already successfully raised 1,5 mil. EUR and are looking for a investment of 500 K EUR.
